النجمة الثمانية نجمة الكلدان ماهي اصولها ؟،ومن اين أتى اسم الكلدان ؟وما معنى كلمة كلدان ؟

1- : النجمة الثمانية أو النجمة الكلدانية أو نجمة عشتار أو نجمة الصباح ما هو أصل هذه النجمة ؟

في الحقيقة أصل هذه النجمة يعود إلى الرمز المسماري السومري (دينگير / ديغير) الذي يعني الله أو الإله باللغة السومرية ، و رمزه المسماري

و هذا الرمز كان مقدساً في العصر السومري و كان يوضع قبل كتابة أي إسم مقدس آنذاك

هذا الرمز هو أصل نجمة ينانا/عشتار كما موضح في الصورة أدناه

هذه النجمة إتخذناها كشعار و رمز قومي للأمة الكلدانية لأنها من صنع أجدادنا القدماء في العصر السومري

و لاحقاً في عصر البابلي و الآشوري أيضاً تواجدت هذه النجمة و في الصورة المسلة الشهيرة التي يعود تأريخها ل ١٢٠٠ سنة قبل الميلاد و أيضاً في الدينار العراقي و العلم العراقي في زمن عبدالكريم قاسم

2- : من أين أتى أسم الكلدان؟ و ما معنى كلمة كلدان؟

– أصل تسمية كلدان تعود لكلمة كاشديم أو كاسديم في التوراة، حيث تم وصف مدينة أور
باللغة السومرية (وريم) ب أور كاشديم باللغة العبرية (لغة بني إسرائيل) و تم ترجمتها إلى أور الكلدانيين، مثلما موضح في الصورة 1 ، ما هو مصدر و معنى كلمة كاشديم أو كاسديم؟

– في الحقيقة هذه التسمية لم تأتي من العدم، بل هناك معنى لهذه الكلمة ، حيث أصل هذه الكلمة يعود لكلمة (كاشدو) السومرية التي تُكتب على هيئة 𒁽 𒁺 باللغة السومرية / الكتابة المسمارية ، و تتكون من مقطعان صوتيان و هم
(كاش / دو، دوگ) و تعني الناجحون أو المنتصرون مثلما موضح في الصورة 1
و أيضا إذا ننظر للصورة الأولى نشاهد كلمة كاشدو موجودة حتى في القاموس الأكادي

ملاحظة / اللغة السومرية أقدم من اللغة الأكادية

– إذا هذا يعني تسمية كلدي أو كلداني تعني الناجحون أو المنتصرون ، و ليس كما يدعي البعض بأن الكلدان يعني المنجم أو الساحر
لأن كما وضحنا في منشوراتنا السابقة بأن الفلك كان مجرد مهنة لدى كلدانيين القدماء و تسمية الكلدان ليس لها علاقة بمهنة التنجيم .

3- : هل كلمة كلدان تعني منجم أو فلكي؟

كثيرون يقولون بأن كلمة الكلداني أو الكلدي تعني الفلكي لكن هذا خطأ كبير ، لأن الكلدان قومية و الفلك مهنة.
نحن الكلدانيون نفتخر بأن أجدادنا في عصور السومرية و البابلية إهتموا بالفلك و إكتشفوا بعض الأشياء لحد اليوم العالم تعتمد على هذه الأشياء، مثل :
إكتشاف الكواكب ، الأبراج الإثنى عشر، و التقويم السومري و البابلي و أشياء فلكية أخرى.
لحد يومنا هذا العالم تعتمد على علم الفلكي الكلداني حتى إذا البعض يعتبره خرافة لكن هناك من يعتمد عليه لكن..
الفلك مهنة و ليس إسم قومية

كلمة كلدان لا تعني الفلك لأسباب التالية :

أولاً / في بلاد الرافدين القديمة الناس كانوا يقدسون الكواكب والنجوم و كانوا يعتبرون بعض النجوم و الكواكب بأنهم آلهة مقدسة، لهذا السبب كانوا يُراقبون حركة الكواكب، فمُراقبة حركة الكواكب كانت بسبب الدين و ليس مهنة.

ثانياً / ليس فقط في العصر البابلي و العصر السومري و في مدينة بابل كانوا يقدسون الكواكب و النجوم، بل حتى في العصر الآشوري
يعني علم الفلك الكلداني إنتقل لنينوى أيضاً
و الدليل النجمة الثمانية كانت مقدسة في نينوى
و حتى في مسلة “آشور ناصربال” موجودة لأنها ترمز ل (إينانا/عشتار) التي تعني كوكب الزهرة أو نجمة الصباح، إلى جانب عبادة أبناء نينوى و آشور للشمس لأنهم كانوا يعتبرون الشمس إله
و يسمونه “إله شمش”

ثالثاً / الكلديين أو الكلدانيين تعني الناجحون أو المنتصرون و أصل الكلمة تعود للكلمة التوراتية
كاشديم المأخوذة من كلمة (كاشدو) باللغة السومرية ، و كلمة كاشدو تعني الناجحون ،

1- What is the origin of this star?

The origin of this star return to the Sumerian cuneiform symbol (Dingir/ Diĝir), which means God in sumerian language, and its cuneiform symbol

This was holy symbol in sumerian period and put before any holy term
In Sumerian period

This symbol is the origin of Inanna/
Ishtar star as shown in the image below

We as Chaldeans took this symbol
As national symbol of Chaldean nation, because it made by our ancient ancestors in the Sumerian era.

Later in the Babylonian and Assyrian era also this star was present in the famous obelisk image dating back to 1200 years BC, and also in the Iraqi dinar and the Iraqi flag at the time of Abdul Karim Qasimيا

2- Where did the name Chaldeans come from ? And what is the meaning of the term Chaldean ?

– The origin of the name Chaldeans goes back to the word Kašdim or Kasdim in the holy bible , where the city of Ur was described in the Sumerian language (Urim) Ur Kašdim in the Hebrew language (the language of the israelis) and it was translated into Ur of the Chaldeans , as shown in picture 1, what is the source and meaning of the term Kašdim or Kassdim?

– In fact, the name did not come from nothingness , there is a meaning of this word , as the origin of this word goes back to the Sumerian word (kašdu), which is written in the form of 𒁽 𒁺 in Sumerian language / cuneiform writing, consisting of two syllables and they are
(Kaš / Du, Dug) which means successful or victorious, illustrated in picture 1
And also, if we look at the first picture, we see the word Kašdu found even in the Akkadian dictionary

Note / The Sumerian language is older than the Akkadian language

– So this means the term Chaldean  means successful or victorious, and not as some claim that Chaldeans mean astrologer or magician
Because as we explained in our previous posts that astronomy was just a profession of the ancient Chaldeans, and the term Chaldean
hasn’t any relation to astrology profession .

3- Does the term (Chaldeans) mean astrologer or astronomer?
Many say that the word Chaldean means astronomer, but this is a big mistake, because the Chaldean term is a nation term and astronomy is a profession.
We Chaldeans are proud that our ancestors in the Sumerian and Babylonian periods were interested in astronomy and discovered some things to this day the world depends on these things, such as:
Planetary fossil, the twelve constellations, the Sumerian & Babylonian calendar , and other astronomical objects.
To this day, the world depends on the Chaldean astronomy, even if some consider it a myth, but there are those who depend on it, but ..
Astronomy profession & Chaldean term is nation term
The word Chaldean is not astronomy term, because of following reasons:
First / In ancient Mesopotamia, people used to sanctify the planets and stars, and they considered some stars and planets as holy gods, for this reason they watched the movement of the planets, so observing the movement of the planets was due to religion and not a profession.
Second / Not only in the Babylonian and Sumerian periods , and in the city of Babylon, the planets and stars were sanctified, but also in the Assyrian period
I mean, Chaldean astronomy moved to Nineveh as well
The guide, the eight-pointed star, was sacred in Nineveh
And even in the “Aššur Nassirpal” obelisk exists because it symbolizes (Inana / Ishtar) which means Venus or the morning star, in addition to the worship of the sons of Nineveh and Assyria to the sun because they considered the sun as a holy god
And they call him “the god Šamš”
Third / Chaldean term means successful or victorious, and the origin of the word goes back to the biblical word
Kashdim, which is taken from the word (Kašdu) in the Sumerian language, and the word Kašdu means successful ,

So the word Chaldean does not mean astronomer, but the ancient Chaldeans are interested in astronomy due to religious reasons .
